History
The Club was formed originally in 1970 when it was called “The Over 60’s Club” but this was later changed to “The Diamond Club”.
Membership
Membership for 2019 is £8.00 per annum and is open to resident in either of the parishes of Abbotsbury or Portesham.
Activities
All trips and events are for members only and normally take place on the third Tuesday of the month from April to November. There are also indoor meetings with a speaker in January, February and March (Club AGM).
If necessary, all external meetings will be subsidised.
Other activities include a Summer Lunch in August and a Christmas Lunch in December, both held in Portesham Village Hall.
There is Friday Night Bingo every month in the Strangways Village Hall Abbotsbury.
